Time Force Cast Gallery

Time Force was an amazing season, one of my favorites. It really brought Power Rangers to a level it had never been to before, and never has since. The season had everything--- love, hate, jealousy, prejudice, death--- everything that is usually incorporated into a teen-age drama.

It begins in the year 3000, the red ranger, Alex Drake, takes down the worst criminal of the time, Ransik. But through course and events Ransik escapes and kills Alex. Alex makes his fiancee, Jen, promise to capture Ransik no matter what.

Jen takes that to heart and follows Ransik through a timehole, bringing her team with her, Lucas, Trip, and Katie. They follow Ransik to the year 2001, and recruit a native of the time, Wes Collins, to become their new red ranger.

The five defeat mutant after mutant, and grow closer, forming lasting friendships. An old school-mate of Wes's comes, Eric Myers, and becomes the Quantum Ranger. He refuses to join their team, and fights either by himself or with the crime-fighting organization he is leader of- the Silver Guardians.

Alex returns for a brief stint as leader, but it doesn't work out, thanks in part- not in whole- to his strict and stubborn ways. The others turn against him and he returns to the future again, continuing to help them there. It becomes obvious that Jen's feelings for him have changed, and she is starting to fall in love with Wes. Jen and Wes struggle with their emotions throughout the series, neither one wanting to admit how they feel.

The final battle comes, and Wes sends them back to the future, after they recieve word that they are all going to die if they stay. Wes and Eric continue the fight, but Eric is injured when he takes a shot for Wes and can't go on.

In the future, Jen gives the ring back to Alex and they return to help Wes. Ransik eventually surrenders, and they all must return to their own time. Wes and Jen finally admit their love, but it is a love that can never be fulfilled.

Or can it? The rangers return in an episode of Power Rangers: Wild Force, and some interesting things happen. . .
